CCQS won the contract to make a pre-opening inspection of the impressive performer flying arrangements at this amazing theatre. Although the theatre was in Macau, the producers required that the show was designed to meet UK standards. Since the show was at the final rehearsal stage, CCQS’ inspection focussed on design, installation and procedures that would ensure ongoing safety in the show.
National Theatre make their own LOLER inspections, but they requested CCQS to review one of their periodic inspections for comments on what was being done and to review the associated records to ensure that they were fully meeting the requirements of LOLER regulations.
